Herold’s Pharmacy is locally founded, owned, and operated by Mary and Michael Wise. As residents of the West Ashley area of Charleston, we take personal pride in servicing our community.
Meet the Owner
In 2010, Mary and Michael opened the doors to Herold’s Pharmacy with a clear mission: to provide the West Ashley community with a superior alternative to the impersonal experience of national drug store chains. Frustrated by the long wait times, rising costs, and lackluster service often found at big-box retailers, the Herolds envisioned a pharmacy where patients are treated like neighbors, not just prescription numbers.

For Mary and Michael, the pharmacy is truly a family affair. They are the proud parents of two sons, Jack and Andy, who have grown up alongside the family business.
